Irene Healey combines her knowledge of art and science with medicine and technology. She is a graduate of the Art as Applied to Medicine program in the College of Medicine at the University of Toronto. As part of the medical art degree, she studied Gross Anatomy, Histology and Surgical Techniques.  Prior to her medical art training, she earned a specialization in sculpture from the Ontario College of Art.
